About Us

Even though there were a lot of persecutions along the line yet the little mustard seed planted by them had grown into a gigantic tree that is worthy of celebrating. History recorded it that they suffered a great deal from the hands of pagans. These at times involved loss of lives and properties.Soon after the signing of the pacification treaty and freeing of slaves, indigenes who were set free as well as Europeans Missionaries found their way into Ekiti land. The most prominent of this group of Evangelist were Babamuboni of Iyin Ekiti and Mrs. Helena Doherty of Ijero Ekiti. Both returned home to preach the gospel. White Missionaries follow in the wake. What do Anglicans believe?

Anglicans believe that there is only one God, but there are three elements to this one God: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

1. We seek unity in essential beliefs

2. We value liberty in non-essential beliefs

3. We pursue love in all things
