The thriving early Christian church holds fast to the promise of resurrection.

 The existence of a thriving and territorial conquering early Christian church confirms the reality of the resurrection guaranteed.

 The church spread on the strength of the proclamation that Jesus had risen from the dead and that God accordingly declared him Lord and Christ (Acts 2: 36).

 Christ’s ability to rule all the earth depends on his victory over death.  This is a message that has spread everywhere.    His ability to traverse society and create new divine individuals was an important aspect of his being.
